Vanessa is a Child and Youth Worker graduate from Sir Sandford College in Peterborough Ontario. She has worked in various settings as a Child and Youth Worker including residential, school, foster homes, community and group facilitation for emotional regulation and anxiety reduction programs using a CBT model. Vanessa has over 7 years experience working locally with children, youth and families.

She helps children and youth navigate through their emotions such as worry and anger in a fun and engaging style. She can teach how to regulate emotions through breathing techniques, meditations and recreational activities. Vanessa can help navigate the school system to assist your child or youth to get the most of their education and help facilitate a positive relationship between family and the school. 

Vanessa is trained in CBT, SNAP, Unified Protocol and DBT. She can offer a fun and interactive learning environment for clients to learn about emotions, explore different emotions and develop effective ways of working through them in the tough times.
